We hope this update finds you well!

As many of you may have heard, Governor Brown has given the option for Dental offices to re-open for all treatment as of May 1st. There are many guidelines and rules that we are required to follow however, they have not been made clear at this time. We are waiting on more guidance from the Oregon Health Authority as well as our local and national associations.

In order to keep our patients and staff safe, we will continue to be available for emergency treatment as we wait for more clear guidelines. In the meantime, we will be preparing as much as possible with the information that we do have.

Our main priority is the safety of our patients, staff, and community. While we are anxious to get back to caring for each and every one of you, we want to have all new policies, safety features, and appropriate equipment in place. We assure you that we are working on this and we look forward to seeing you all soon!

Restorative Dentistry

Restorative Dentistry by Columbia River DentalYou don't have to live with damage, discoloration or gaps when it comes to your teeth. There is a procedure that is right for you and your unique situation. From bridges, to dentures, to implants, we can help or point you in the right direction.

Fillings

Fillings are used to restore areas of your tooth affected by decay by adding materials to "fill in" the surface of the tooth after all decay has been removed.

Complete Denture

Dentures are a replacement option for missing teeth. A complete denture is a removable prosthesis of white plastic teeth in a pink gum-colored plastic base.

Partial Denture

Often called a "partial," this type of denture is often used when only some of the teeth are missing. A partial denture is a removable appliance held in place by gripping the remaining healthy teeth, usually with metal clasps or wires.

Dental Bridge

Bridges are used to replace a missing tooth in both a cosmetic and functional fashion. A bridge structure is one or more artificial teeth anchored in place by natural teeth, crowns or implants, on each side of the bridge.

Dental Crowns

Crowns are used to restore teeth severely damaged by fracture or decay. After the tooth surface is cleaned and prepared, the crown is placed to cover the remainder of the tooth.

Composite Bonding

Bonding is a procedure where we apply a tooth-colored composite material to a tooth, shape it, allow it to harden and polish it. It can be used in certain situations where a tooth has been damaged or become stained.

Root Canal Therapy

A "root canal," or endodontic therapy, is a procedure available to save a tooth that is infected and would otherwise require extraction. There are many reasons that teeth can become infected, including: cavities, previous large fillings, crowns, cracks and trauma.

Single and Multiple Tooth Implants

Dental implants are the closest dental restoration to your original teeth. They are natural-looking and provide the functionality of a normal tooth. Dental implants can replace missing or severely damaged teeth and can be used to secure restorations like dentures and dental bridges.
